ADNOC and TAQA drive industrial growth in the UAE
The collaboration will ensure the long-term reliable supply of utilities and reinforces the UAE’s plans to diversify its economy by strengthening its industrial base. The planned infrastructure will facilitate the manufacture of products such as low-carbon ammonia, methanol, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ethylene dichloride (EDC), vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and caustic soda.
TA’ZIZa joint venture between ADNOC and ADQ, will also be responsible for establishing a management entity that will centralize utility procurement. This structure aims to improve operational efficiency and provide long-term stability for the industrial players that will set up in the chemical zone.
