Transports Vallée has decided to move towards the electrification of freight transport by selecting its first Mercedes-Benz eActros 600. This acquisition marks the beginning of a new phase for the company, which already plans to incorporate two additional units in the coming days.

The firm has strengthened its commitment to efficiency in thermal engines by adding 62 Actros L 1848 trucks with ProCabin, an aerodynamically optimized version. The vehicles include a new powertrain with the G291 transmission and a revamped rear axle, which together enable a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 4% compared to the previous model.

The energy transition undertaken by Vallée has been accompanied by the installation of a charging infrastructure at its headquarters. The system consists of four charging points: one 400 kW ultra-fast charging point and three additional 240 kW charging points. This capacity makes it possible to take full advantage of the drivers’ regulatory pause times for intermediate recharging.

The eActros 600 is the electric flagship of Mercedes-Benz Trucks and has been designed for long-haul heavy transport. It also has three battery packs totaling 621 kWh of installed capacity, with lithium-ferrophosphate(LFP) technology, known for its durability and reliability. The configuration allows it to achieve up to 500 kilometers of range without recharging, even when operating with a combined gross mass of 40 tons.

Moreover, the truck stands out for having been recognized as“International Truck of the Year 2025“, after having been tested in real conditions in 22 countries for more than 15,000 kilometers.

With a fleet of 650 vehicles and more than 800 employees, Transports Vallée seeks to balance technological innovation and sustainability. The integration of electric mobility and high-efficiency thermal engines reinforces its position as a leading logistics operator in the European market.
