Forrestania Resources Limited has launched its diamond drilling program for diamond drilling at the Lady Lila gold project, part of the Forrestania Hub in Western Australia. This initiative is part of the company’s strategy to expand its presence in the country’s most promising mineral belts.

Diamond drilling and technical planning

Kalgoorlie-Boulder-based contractor Terra Drilling is responsible for executing the 1,300 meters of diamond core drilling, which was preceded by precollars completed in 2025. The main objective of the program is to explore the extension of the mineralization both in a north-south direction and at depth.

David Geraghty, CEO of Forrestania Resources, highlighted the importance of the metallurgical component of the program. The cores obtained will allow the initiation of metallurgical testwork and geotechnical studies to further assess the viability of the deposit located in the recently awarded mining concession M77/1325.

Resources and growth potential

The site Lady Lila was updated in September 2025 to a mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 1.2 million tonnes grading 1.03 g/t gold, representing 40,513 ounces using a 0.5 g/t cut-off point.

The continuity of mineralization was confirmed in previous programs, and the current program aims to expand that knowledge along strike and at depth.

Regional development strategy

Lady Lila is one of the pillars of Forrestania Resources’ plan to build a multi-asset portfolio in the Southern Cross, Coolgardie and Menzies regions. These areas offer a combination of gold and base metals within highly prospective mineralized corridors.

The drill results will be used by consulting firm MBS Environmental to prepare regulatory submissions, which are expected to be submitted towards the end of 2026. The advancement of the Lady Lila project reinforces Forrestania’s position as a key player in Western Australia’s gold development.
