The vessel Acta Pegasus was delivered on January 5, 2026 by Tersan Shipyard to Acta Marine. This CSOV vessel records the start of a series of four new generation vessels designed by Ulstein Design & Solutions, all built on the SX216 platform and featuring the distinctive Twin X-Stern hull.
Acta Pegasus vessel and Norwegian technology
The Acta Pegasus was designed to meet the current demands of the offshore sector, and integrates energy efficiency, advanced stability and maneuverability solutions. Featuring the Twin X-Stern hull and high-precision dynamic positioning system, the vessel can operate in complex weather conditions with reduced fuel consumption and increased safety.
The vessel uses dual fuel engines that can run on marine diesel or methanol blends, significantly reducing emissions. In addition, it has battery energy storage systems, allowing it to optimize consumption and reduce its environmental footprint during offshore operations.
Its operational capabilities also integrate a 3D motion compensated gangway and a transfer crane, enabling the safe transfer of personnel and cargo between the vessel and offshore wind structures. Such solutions are aligned with the Walk-to-Work(W2W) designs developed by UlsteinThe solutions are aligned with the Walk-to-Work (W2W) designs developed by Ulstein for the maintenance and commissioning of offshore installations.
The vessel Acta Pegasus is equipped to accommodate up to 135 people in comfortable cabins. It includes common spaces such as gym, sauna, restaurant and recreation areas, integrated with digital connectivity.
With the arrival of Acta Pegasus, Acta Marine strengthens its commitment to a modern fleet oriented to the logistic support of offshore wind farms in Europe, especially in projects established in France.
