Global cabling solutions manufacturer Nexans has been selected by ScottishPower Renewables to supply 66 kV accessories for the East Anglia THREE (EA3) offshore wind farm, a strategic project located 69 kilometers off the coast of Suffolk, UK.
EA3, part of the ambitious East Anglia Hub, will have 95 turbines and aims to provide clean energy to more than 1.3 million UK homes.

Nexans will provide a specialized range of medium voltage electrical components, including tee connectors, bushings, junction boxes, cable lugs and pre-terminated power cables. All accessories are designed to ensure stable and secure connections from the nacelle of each turbine to the offshore platform.
