THREE60 Energy proposes a new path for energy engineering
During the OSRL 2025 forum, held in the United States, Antonio Carotenuto, Director of Growth and Business Development at THREE60 Energy, shared his views on the future of power engineering. The company, with a presence in prominent regions such as the United Kingdom, Norway, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia and the United States, has consolidated its growth from a strategy based on acquisitions of specialized companies.
According to Carotenuto, this approach has allowed them to build a robust portfolio of services, capable of offering both one-off solutions and turnkey projects, including the integrated asset management.
The value of integrating knowledge and data
One of the main themes of the conversation was the critical role of integration between technical knowledge and data to optimize both day-to-day operations and emergency response capabilities.
For the executive, achieving this depends on the early participation of all the actors involved in a project, from design to execution. This coordination allows for operational agility, technical guarantees and greater resilience in the face of unforeseen events.
Digital transformation as a cornerstone
The interview also addressed the influence of new technologies on engineering processes. Carotenuto emphasized that tools such as the digital twins, integrated management platforms and intelligent databases are reshaping the way technical services are conceived and executed.
He also highlighted the potential of incorporating artificial intelligence solutions to facilitate access to information, improve decision-making and reduce operating times. All of this contributes to meeting the current demands of the sector: greater speed, lower costs and higher quality standards.

Alliances that strengthen the industry
Regarding the relationship with Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL), Carotenuto noted that the combination of emergency response expertise, advanced engineering and technology opens the door to more effective collaborations.
"Emergency preparedness improves when data is integrated from the start. We can then anticipate scenarios, plan accurately and act more effectively."
explained Carotenuto
He also pointed out that these types of synergies allow adding value to the client and to the energy sector in general, especially in contexts where coordinated responses among multiple actors are required.
A collaboration model that is already bearing fruit
The interview closed with a reflection on co-creation as a new paradigm; Carotenuto mentioned previous experiences in Norway, where THREE60 Energy has participated in shared systems of resources and equipment, allowing to accelerate development projects.
"We are observing how the market tends to concentrate on fewer players, but with higher demands. That's why working together is no longer optional."
Antonio Carotenuto
