Aker Solutions announced the award of a 6-year contract with ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS to continue maintenance and modification (M&M) services on the Eldfisk and Ekofisk fields, located in the Norwegian continental shelf.

The contract will start in January 2027 and includes the possibility to extend for up to two additional three-year periods, which could make it a collaboration of up to twelve years. This is one of the largest portfolios of offshore brownfield services in Norway, and represents a significant milestone in the company’s energy lifecycle strategy.
The project will be managed from Aker Solutions’ Stavanger office, while fabrication activities will be carried out at the Egersund shipyard, both in Norway.
Why is this contract important?
Both Eldfisk and Ekofisk are key fields in Norway’s energy history and remain vital assets in terms of production.
