The company appointed BGR Group as a consultant to accelerate liaison with U.S. agencies on critical minerals.
Eclipse Metals impulsa tierras raras en EE. UU.

Eclipse Metals has announced the incorporation of BGR Group, a leading U.S. government relations advisory firm, in order to strengthen its connection with the federal administration, defense agencies and Congress. This move seeks to strategically position its Greenland assets as reliable sources of rare earths aligned with the Western bloc.

The decision reinforces Eclipse’s commitment to the development of the Ivigtut-Grønnedal mining district in southwest Greenland, where the company is advancing exploration for critical minerals and high-purity industrial quartz.

Institutional support and international projection

The agreement is intended to open avenues for access to strategic strategic financing, institutional visibility and commercial alliances in the U.S.In addition, it complements the work already being done by a European advisor, who has facilitated the political and commercial alignment of the project with actors in the Western industrial ecosystem.

High critical value projects: Ivigtut and Grønnedal

Eclipse Metals’ Greenland portfolio consists of two assets with high geological and commercial projection:

  • Grønnedal, a system with an inferred resource of 89 million tons with 6,363 ppm TREO, which includes high demand elements such as neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, terbium and yttrium.
  • Ivigtut, recognized for its historic polymetallic mineralization and ultra-pure silica quartz reserves, key to advanced technology industries.

Next phase: more drilling and more diplomacy

Among the next steps contemplated by Eclipse Metals are:

  • Active coordination with U.S. government agencies and congressional committees
  • Expansion of the drilling campaign
  • Continued support from Europe to consolidate the international positioning of the project
  • Advances in resource development and strategic planning

Geopolitical vision: a bet on western supply

The appointment of BGR is an important milestone in strengthening the geopolitical position of our Greenland assets. His experience operating at the highest levels of U.S. policy making will be invaluable as Eclipse moves forward with its goal of establishing Ivigtut Gronnedal as a western source of reference for critical rare earth elements.

Carl Popal, Chief Executive Officer

This move aligns with the interest of the United States and its allies to diversify its sources of critical materials in the face of increasing global dependence on the Asian market.

With this institutional backing, Eclipse Metals accelerates its integration into the strategic minerals supply chain, contributing to the energy, technological and industrial security of the western bloc.
