Over the past two years, Wescott Industrial Services has successfully completed a complex maintenance campaign at the offshore wind farm East Anglia ONE, owned by ScottishPower Renewables. The operation focused on the technical repair of the coatings of the 102 cranes located on the Main Access Platform (MAP), implementing innovative solutions and prioritizing safety in highly demanding environments.
Innovations in the repair of offshore coatings
One of the main challenges was the maritime environment. To address this, Wescott employed a multi-layer repair system that allowed it to work beyond conventional relative humidity and dew point limits. This optimized performance in the available climatic windows, a critical factor for offshore projects. offshore projects.

During the entire process, more than 55,800 working hours were accumulated without any incidents involving sick leave, reflecting a solid preventive culture.

With this intervention, the wind farm East Anglia ONE wind farm consolidates its generation capacity of 714 MW of clean energy, enough to cover the demand of around 700,000 homes, guaranteeing its sustained operation over time under rigorous industrial standards.
