AFRY has signed a contract with Vattenfall to provide technical consulting services in multiple energy sectors. This agreement establishes a new stage in a collaboration that spans more than three decades between the two organizations.

The contract will have an initial duration of three years, with the possibility of extension for an additional two years, while contemplating the provision of engineering services in various energy technologies. The agreement covers a wide range of technical competencies, and also covers multiple regions where Vattenfall operates. In this way, AFRY makes its expertise available to drive critical infrastructure projects and facilitate the transition to sustainable energy systems.
Elon Hägg, Executive Vice President of AFRY and leader of the Energy Division, mentioned the relevance of the agreement to continue offering technical and commercial support to Vattenfall. The relationship between the two firms goes back more than 30 years, which enhances the mutual trust and shared vision around the power engineering of the future.
