On its first day of activities, the ASNT 2025 Annual Conference, organized by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing, opened its doors at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. With the participation of hundreds of professionals from the industrial and technological sectors, the event kicked off with a day packed with technical content, digital innovation, and networking opportunities.

From the early hours of the day, attendees registered and accessed the exhibition floor, where more than 210 companies showcased their solutions in inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT). The atmosphere was one of enthusiasm and reunion, especially among those who value this event as one of the most influential in the industry globally.

Sessions focused on AI and data optimization

One of the highlights of this first day was the technical focus of the opening sessions, which addressed topics that reflect an accelerated digital transformation in the NDT field, such as the application of artificial intelligence to develop more accurate and autonomous tools, as well as strategies to optimize data flow and processing.

These presentations captured the attention of specialists interested in integrating new analytical capabilities into their operations, especially in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, transportation, and advanced manufacturing.

Inspiring keynote address by Lisa Ryan

The highlight of the day was the keynote address by Lisa Ryan, president of Grategy, renowned for her focus on leadership and organizational culture. Her talk offered a comprehensive view of how human relationships, gratitude, and collaboration remain highly relevant factors in an increasingly automated environment.

This segment was sponsored by Carestream, one of the leading companies in NDT solutions, which also had a prominent presence in the exhibition area.

Connections that strengthen the NDT community

The day ended with a welcome cocktail party that brought attendees together in a relaxed atmosphere, conducive to establishing new professional connections and sharing impressions about the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. These social activities reinforce the value of the event not only as a space for knowledge, but also as a meeting point for an increasingly global technical community.

With more than 2,200 confirmed participants and over 100 technical sessions planned, ASNT 2025 continues to position itself as the main stage for discovering trends, strengthening networks, and exploring the future of non-destructive testing.
