SHI’s Snapwind float obtains ABS approval for renewable energies

The American Bureau of Shipping(ABS) has granted approval in principle to Samsung Heavy Industries(SHI) SnapWind float, a semi-submersible design intended to offshore wind turbines 15 MW offshore wind turbines.
