Sweden’s Sandvik has closed a key deal with Zimplats to supply mining equipment for the Ngezi mining complex in Zimbabwe. The contract, valued at approximately SEK 280 million, has been officially registered during the third quarter of 2025.

Zimplats, the largest producer of platinum group metals in the country, continues to strengthen its subway mining strategy.
