DOF signs million-dollar contracts with Petrobras for offshore operations in Brazil

The Norwegian group DOF consolidated its presence in Brazil after securing two new contract awards with Petrobras, one of the world’s leading oil companies.

On the one hand, an addendum to the long-term subsea inspection contract (PIDF), currently executed by the Stril Explorer vessels, was confirmed, Geoholm and Skandi Carla. This new operational scope will be in force until the end of 2025 and represents revenues in excess of US$50 million.

DOF also secured a new 4-year charter contract for the Skandi Salvador, which will operate under the Brazilian flag. This unit is equipped with two work class ROVs and a subsea crane, essential tools for intervention operations and subsea support in production fields.

The start of activities of the Skandi Salvador is projected for December 2025 and the contract has an estimated value of US$165 million, reinforcing DOF’s strategy in the Latin American market.
