Sunpower Yachts has introduced the Solar-eJET 3.3m, the first inflatable tender with a 100% electric jet engine that recharges directly from the yacht’s solar system. Designed for owners looking to completely eliminate the use of fossil fuels and cables on dinghies, this model represents a firm step towards self-sufficient sailing. self-sufficient sailing.
Recharging takes place inside the yacht, without chargers or plugs.
Thanks to an integrated solar connection port, the Solar-eJET is automatically recharged when stored on board, without requiring external configurations. This system is optimized for the entire Sunpower fleet, allowing a seamless transition between the main yacht and the tender.
With an electric motor 22 kW (30 HP equivalent) electric motor powered by a lithium battery lithium battery 10 kWh lithium battery, the tender offers liquid-cooled jet propulsion. The deep “V” hull made of marine grade aluminum, together with the reinforced Hypalon tubes, ensure durability and stability even in demanding coastal conditions.
The model comes with power steering, waterproof LED navigation lights, padded seats, towing cleats and non-slip deck with teak-like finish. It can accommodate five passengers and has a payload of up to 425 kg, all in a weight of just 105 kg without battery.
Limited availability of inflatable tender
The Solar-eJET 3.3m will be available exclusively to new Sunpower Yachts customers from August 2025, although some external orders will be accepted if the vessel is compatible with marine solar systems.
With this innovation, Sunpower reinforces its commitment to sustainable nautical mobility, completely eliminating dependence on the port and offering a practical, elegant and energy independent solution.
