Fengfei Aviation has delivered to Heli Intelligent the first cargo eVTOL with three airworthiness certificates, strengthening China’s technological advances in low-altitude electric aviation.

The first eVTOL with three certificates

On July 22, Fengfei Aviation Technology announced the delivery of the V2000CG Kairuiou, the first two-ton electric eVTOL to receive TC, PC and AC certificates from the Civil Aviation Administration of China. This comprehensive certification legally qualifies the V2000CG for commercial operations, setting a new standard in the development of advanced air mobility aircraft.

From testing in plains and mountainous areas to urban and coastal environments, the V2000CG has accumulated more than 40,000 kilometers of verified flights. Testing spanned multiple regions such as Qinghai, Hainan and Greater Khingan, as well as flights in the United Arab Emirates and Japan.

Fengfei’ s design points to the evolution of air transportation: from specialized cargo to specialized cargo to passengers. Moreover, firefighting, raft deployment and emergency evacuation drills have been conducted with this model.

Heli Intelligent, a strategic ally of Fengfei, has been working since 2021 on medical transport solutions with aircraft such as the Great White Shark. Now, with the integration of the V2000CG, they seek to expand their offer to new urban and regional scenarios.

The full certification of the V2000CG enables Fengfei and its partners to advance the construction of dedicated infrastructure, update regulatory protocols and strengthen the industrial chain related to air mobility.
