The Ford company announced that its line of cars destined for Europe will be entirely electric by 2030.
The American manufacturer has taken this measure as an advanced step, obeying the questions that are made today about CO 2 emissions, as the cause of global environmental pollution, causing global warming.
Vehicle pollution has put the use of fossil fuel in check, so the automotive industry, including the North American Ford, has been forced to take on the challenge of contributing to climate change.
The company indicates that they will make an investment of 1,000 million dollars to modify its vehicle assembly plant in Cologne, Germany, to later transform it into the first Ford electric vehicle facility in Europe.
Last September, Ford also announced the construction of two plants in Tennessee and Kentucky that will focus on the manufacture of electric vehicles and their batteries. They expect that by 2030, 50% of their global production will be fully electric. Situation that leaves open a great unknown: What will be the future of the oil company in the world?
