The beginning of AAL DAMMAM
This vessel represents the sixth member of the company’s Super B class fleet, characterized by its capacity to handle heavy cargoes and complex industrial projects. In addition, the‘AAL DAMMAM‘ is prepared to operate with low-emission fuels, including methanol.
A first voyage is planned for the transport of components for offshore renewable energy, departing from ports in China to facilities in the United Kingdom. This route is strategic for the growth of the offshore wind sector, and positions AAL as a player in global logistics for sustainable projects.
Designed to offer maximum flexibility, the vessel has a reinforced deck for heavy cargoes and modular holds that allow the transport of large equipment. The possibility of adapting to alternative fuels such as methanol makes it an option aligned with the international objectives of decarbonization of maritime transport.
With this addition, AAL Shipping strengthens its position in specialized project cargo transportation, especially in sectors that require complex logistical solutions, such as offshore wind energy. The Super B class fleet continues to consolidate its position as a reference for the industry due to its versatility, operational efficiency and environmental readiness.
