IR Supplies accelerates NDT’s digital transformation
In conversation with Inspenet, Andrea Zois, sales representative of the company, shared that IR Supplies began operations in Edmonton and today has offices in Burlington (Ontario) and Quebec, covering the entire Canadian territory. In addition to offering radiography equipment, ultrasoundand PMI, the firm also provides technical services such as maintenance of MPI and LPI test benches.
Synergy was the protagonist at the IR Supplies booth, which brought together more than 16 supplier companies such as Labino, Comet, Enteladyne, SIAPS and SG NDT, exhibiting digital radiography (DR) systems, X-ray tubes and ultrasonic equipment, highlighting the industry’s shift towards digital solutions, leaving behind the use of traditional film.
Our strategy is to offer at least two options for each type of product we sell. We focus on quality and availability, which positions us as the largest NDT distributor in the country.

Although its primary focus is Canada, some products may be distributed to the United States, exclusively to end users.
A recent milestone in their growth was the acquisition of TED Canada in Quebec, allowing them to enter the aerospace sector. aerospace sectoradding this niche to their experience in industries such as nuclear and automotive.
