The collaboration between PBS Offshore and TotalEnergies is strengthened following the extension of the General Maintenance and Operations Contract(GMOC), which will remain in force until April 2027. This agreement is important for operations in the North Sea, consolidating PBS as a strategic partner in offshore asset management.
Extension of the GMOC contract with TotalEnergies
The initial contract was awarded in 2020 and since then PBS, a consortium consisting of Ponticelli UK, Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services and Semco Maritime, has demonstrated its ability to provide comprehensive support on the UKCS.
During 2024, the PBS team managed to decrease the maintenance backlog, execute scheduled shutdowns, and maintain an exemplary safety record. These improvements build on the foundations established in previous years, strengthening an agile and effective operating model.
On the other hand, both companies value the high performance and value assigned in critical asset management and compliance with safety and sustainability goals. The extension of the contract reflects this trust and marks a new period of process optimization and maintenance of service quality in the North Sea.
With the extension of the GMOC, PBS is committed to further improving the delivery of its services and actively contributing to the emission reduction and safe operation targets of TotalEnergies UK. The continuity of the agreement represents stability for the team and a platform for the technological evolution of the offshore operations.
