TWMA signs contract with BP to manage drilling waste in the North Sea

TWMA Middle East Limited has been awarded a contract by BP to provide drilling waste management services in the UK North Sea. This agreement, with an initial term of three years and the possibility of extension, strengthens TWMA’s position as a provider of advanced technologies for offshore operations.

The project involves the use of TWMA’s RotoMill technology, which allows for the safe and efficient processing of waste directly in the pit. By avoiding the transport of materials to land and maximizing recycling, a reduction in environmental impact and associated costs is achieved.

As of October 2024, TWMA has begun executing the contract with BP, aligning its services with the energy giant’s efficiency and sustainability goals. The collaboration reinforces BP’s strategy to optimize its North Sea operations by adopting solutions that minimize its environmental footprint.
