Iberdrola Spain is increasing its commitment to sustainability by launching ATuAire , a company specializing in aerothermal solutions for air conditioning in the residential, industrial, and tertiary sectors.
The launch of the ATuAire project
Aerothermal energy is a technology based on heat pumps that harness the energy of the outside air, proving to be four times more efficient than conventional boilers. This project offers customized solutions that optimize existing installations, avoiding unnecessary construction and maximizing comfort and energy efficiency.
To facilitate the transition to this technology, Iberdrola finances 100% of the projects and manages the available subsidies, transforming energy savings into Energy Saving Certificates (ESCs) that guarantee a competitive return on investment.
In addition, the company is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the facilities, offering a 100% green electricity plan tailored to the needs of each client.
ATuAire’s CEO, Pablo Collado, emphasizes the importance of electrifying heating to achieve the complete decarbonization of the economy. ” ATuAire was created to lead the transition toward more sustainable and efficient air conditioning, boosting the sector as Iberdrola did more than 25 years ago with renewable energy ,” Collado says.
