Freen OÜ, Europe’s largest manufacturer of small wind turbines , has announced the launch of its new 15 kW Freen-H15 turbine , designed to meet the energy needs of homes, farms, rural businesses, and communities. This turbine stands out for its high efficiency, low noise impact, and adaptability to different environments.

Innovation and energy efficiency of the Freen-H15 turbine

With a rated power of 15 kW at a wind speed of 11 m/s, the turbine has been optimized for superior performance. Its 11-meter diameter rotor and the option to mount it on 18- or 22-meter-high towers make it versatile and suitable for a variety of locations .

The advanced blade design allows it to generate more electricity than other turbines of its size, while its passive wind steering and multi-brake system ensure safety and reliability even in extreme conditions.

Guaranteed strength and durability

The Freen-H15 is designed to operate in a wide temperature range , from -25°C to +60°C, making it an ideal choice for both cold and warm climates. Its estimated 20-year lifespan ensures a long-term, cost-effective investment.

In addition, its low noise level (< 45 dB at 60 meters) and the low rotation speed (71 rpm) make it suitable for installation in rural or residential areas without causing acoustic disturbances or endangering local fauna .

Low maintenance and intelligent control

The Orbital digital controller enables remote monitoring and efficient management of turbine performance. Thanks to its simplified design, the Freen-H15 requires little maintenance , and the company offers after-sales support through a network of qualified local technicians. With a spare parts warehouse in Estonia, the company guarantees rapid response times should any need arise.

The Freen-H15 represents a step toward energy decentralization, promoting self-sufficiency in communities far from traditional electricity grids. By reducing dependence on fossil fuels, the turbine contributes to the fight against climate change and promotes local clean energy production .
