Endesa has inaugurated a new, higher-power, ultra-fast charging hub at the Parc Vallès shopping center in Terrassa, Catalonia, making it the second most powerful in Spain. With 1.6 MW of power and a capacity of up to 300 kW per charging point, this new facility is a key step in the advancement of electric mobility in the region and the country.
The “highest power hub” and ultra-fast charging
Parc Vallès, one of the region’s main shopping centers, has entrusted Endesa with providing an electric charging infrastructure that can meet the needs of electric vehicle drivers. This new hub meets the demand for ultra-fast charging and also offers other charging options, from semi-fast to fast, adapting to the different charging times and needs of users.
The Parc Vallès charging hub has a total of 30 spaces spread across three parking areas, with ultra-fast chargers that allow charging to reach 80% of the battery in just 5-15 minutes. This versatility ensures that drivers can choose the option that best suits their available time, whether for a quick stop or while enjoying the shopping center’s facilities.
Electric vehicle owners will be able to enjoy a fast and simple charging experience using the Endesa electric mobility app. Through this app, drivers can manage their charging, make payments, and access customized rates, all from their mobile phone. They can also book in advance up to 15 minutes before arriving at the charging point, optimizing their time and convenience.
The new hub is part of Endesa’s extensive charging infrastructure network, with more than 6,200 charging points throughout Spain. The company remains committed to sustainability and the energy transition, promoting the electrification of transportation and the use of clean energy in its integrated energy solutions.
Parc Vallès’s strategic location, just minutes from Barcelona and connected to major highways such as the AP-7, makes this hub a convenient access point for both shopping center users and drivers traveling throughout the region. Furthermore, this facility contributes to compliance with environmental regulations requiring the installation of charging stations in publicly accessible spaces, such as shopping centers and high-traffic areas.
