From April 6-10, the Music City Center Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, will be the meeting point for material protection innovation. The AMPP + Expo 2025 Annual Conference brings together more than 350 exhibitors and over 6,000 corrosion experts, energy industry leaders, researchers, and technology visionaries.
With more than 600 hours of technical content and a 300,000-square-foot exhibition space, the event offers unique networking opportunities, hands-on training, workshops, and specialized meetings covering everything from advanced coatings to safety standards in extreme environments.
The AMPP 2025 agenda

One of the key moments of the conference is the keynote address “ Team Success is Your Success: You Can’t Do It Alone, You Will Succeed or Fail as a Team ,” delivered by former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino, who is the keynote speaker at the conference.
The event will also address the role of new materials and technologies in protecting critical assets. Sessions such as “Corrosion Inhibitors in the Oil and Gas Industry,” “Challenges of Tank Lining in Biological Feedstock Storage,” and “Corrosion Data Management for Operational Excellence” will highlight how industrial sectors are incorporating advanced coatings, real-time monitoring, and durability strategies to address increasingly aggressive environments.
In addition, artificial intelligence-based prediction tools, field studies on biofuel-induced corrosion, and advances in microorganism- and chemical-resistant coatings will be presented.
Other technical topics will focus on optimizing coating performance in infrastructure, the corrosion behavior of materials for prospective use in molten salt reactors, and more.
The 2025 Materials Performance (MP) Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards will also be presented just prior to the exhibition hall opening.
