CMA CGM Baalbeck , an 8,000 TEU cargo vessel operated by the CMA CGM Group, has made history by becoming the first LNG-powered container ship to call at Australian ports. This arrival represents a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
With this innovative alternative fuel technology, the dual-fuel LNG vessel is headed to key ports such as Sydney, Adelaide, and Fremantle, strengthening supply chains in Australia and Oceania.
