La alianza fortalecida entre Omni Táxi Aéreo y TotalEnergies

Omni Helicopters International ( OHI ) Group’s subsidiary Omni Táxi Aéreo announced the renewal of its contract with TotalEnergies for operations in the Lapa field, located in the Santos basin, Brazil. This agreement began in mid-2018, under an initial five-year contract, and now, both companies are strengthening their relationship based on mutual trust and operational excellence.

The service will be managed from Jacarepaguá Airport in Rio de Janeiro, using a diversified fleet of large, super-midsize and midsize aircraft, tailored to TotalEnergies’ specific needs. This customized approach seeks to maintain the safety, efficiency and quality that characterize Omni Táxi Aéreo.

According to Roberto Coimbra, CEO of the company, ” the renewal reaffirms our commitment to offer excellent services in a sector where safety and punctuality are essential .” The modernized fleet includes aircraft strategically selected for the demands of the offshore sector.

For its part, TotalEnergies highlights the importance of this collaboration in its operations in the Lapa field, a deepwater exploration project. This new agreement strengthens the presence of both companies in one of the most competitive markets in the energy sector in Latin America.

In addition, Omni Táxi Aéreo draws on its experience accumulated since its founding in 2000 to offer services such as crew rotation , specialized cargo transportation and emergency medical services ( EMS ), highlighting its ability to operate in challenging conditions.
