At the most anticipated event in the non-destructive inspection industry, Eddyfi Technologies is presenting its latest technological innovations that are revolutionizing the way inspections are carried out in key sectors such as energy, gas, oil and aerospace. From its stand, company representatives are demonstrating how its advanced solutions, such as the automated weld scanner and inspection techniques with ACFM (Alternating Current Field Measurement) and guided waves , are marking a before and after in the inspection of critical components.

Eddyfi Technologies presents its advances in non-destructive inspection technologies, highlighting the automation of processes and the development of new solutions for the energy and aerospace industries.

Zeki Gokce , Technical Sales Director at Eddyfi Technologies, highlighted during the interview that the company is showcasing an automated weld scanner that has made significant advances in the accuracy and speed of weld inspections. “Our automated scanner is designed to improve efficiency on the jobsite while ensuring superior inspection quality,” said Gokce, referring to the benefits this system offers in terms of speed and accuracy.

Charles Tremblay , Product Manager for ACFM & PEC at Eddyfi, highlighted some of the most notable solutions presented during the event, such as a new probe for galvanized steel and a probe specially designed for high temperatures, which resists up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit . In addition, Tremblay highlighted the 3BZ butt weld array probes , which are the latest technological advancement launched by the company on the market. “These solutions not only facilitate the detection of fatigue cracks, but also allow inspections to be carried out without the need to remove conductive coatings,” he explained.

Paul Hillman , Solutions Development Expert for PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing), emphasized how the company continues to advance the inspection of tubes and other critical components using ultrasound technologies. “PAUT technology is enabling increased resolution and the ability to detect small defects, even those that are difficult to find with other techniques such as guided waves,” Hillman said.

Eddyfi Technologies is once again demonstrating why it is a leader in the non-destructive inspection sector, introducing solutions that not only increase accuracy, but also improve safety and reduce downtime in essential industries. ASNT 2024 attendees can find these innovations at the Eddyfi booth (Booth 700) and take part in live demonstrations of the new technologies.
