With an abundant supply of wind and solar energy, together with access to hydroelectric sources, the region has optimal conditions for the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives. In addition, the advanced infrastructure of the Port of Pecém , in collaboration with the Port of Rotterdam , offers export terminals and industrial opportunities that Fuella will fully exploit.

The agreement, signed on October 28, not only promises energy development, but also an investment of approximately R$9 billion ( equivalent to USD 1.5 billion ) and the creation of more than a thousand jobs. These figures underline the socioeconomic impact that this project will have on the region, contributing to sustainable growth and the energy transformation of Brazil.

Thorsten Helms, Managing Director of Business and Corporate Development at Fuella, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are incredibly proud to secure this project in Pecém. It is one of the best locations in the world for the production of green hydrogen and ammonia. We thank the Port of Pecém and its partners for their support and trust. “.

The company has established a strong presence in Brazil, with this being its second project in the country. Previously, it partnered with Porto do Açu for the development of a green ammonia plant , highlighting its commitment to expanding sustainable supply chains and creating next-generation renewable energy .
