This mobile charging station can move autonomously to the point of need, offering a flexible alternative adapted to times of high demand on the roads. With a maximum speed of 5 km/h, the Chinese company’s top model allows drivers to have a reliable source of energy, especially useful in high traffic situations or in areas with limited infrastructure.

The flagship version of the autonomous charging system has 141 kWh and is valued at $42,000, while the cheaper version, with a capacity of 30 kWh, allows manual recharging with a 20 kW charging gun. This latest model, called the VA100T , is ideal for those who do not require full autonomy and are looking for an affordable charging solution.

Wuling’s autonomous, mobile charging stations offer a solution to reduce queues at fixed charging stations and meet peak demand, especially during peak traffic periods. In addition, the versatility of these “ electric canisters ” allows them to be applied in multiple sectors, from car dealerships and service centres to university campuses and rural areas.

With this electric mobility solution, the company continues to position itself as a benchmark in energy innovation . In addition, expansion plans include the development of versions of mobile charging systems that can be used on major highways, which could open the door to a global market and new business models for roadside assistance services.
