Exail Robotics Belgium has secured a €60 million contract with NATO to supply underwater mine disposal vehicles to the Belgian and Dutch navies. This agreement includes the K-Ster C models, designed for accurate and safe mine neutralization; and K-Ster CT, intended for safe training.

These vehicles, assembled at Exail’s state-of-the-art plant in Ostend, will be crucial for reinforcing naval defense capabilities in mine clearance operations and represent a significant advance in the naval defense capabilities of Belgium and the Netherlands.

The K-Ster C is a highly specialized vehicle designed to neutralize underwater mines with precision. With its compact and lightweight design, it can be easily deployed on critical missions. Equipped with a powerful hollow charge, the K-Ster C is capable of effectively destroying all types of mines, ensuring safety in mined areas.

For its part, the K-Ster CT, intended for training, provides a realistic and safe environment to prepare crews, using an inert warhead to avoid risks during practice.
