AutoFlight and CATL have signed a strategic investment and cooperation agreement involving hundreds of millions of dollars. This agreement brings together two leaders in their respective fields: AutoFlight, known for its eVTOL offerings, and CATL, an expert in new energy battery technology.

CATL’s decision to make this exclusive investment in AutoFlight demonstrates confidence in the company’s potential, and its ability to deliver new developments in eVTOLs. CATL, with its research and development expertise, strong industrial infrastructure and dominance in the battery supply chain, can propel AutoFlight towards achievements in eVTOL technology.

AutoFlight and CATL are committed to a long-term partnership focused on battery research and development specifically designed for eVTOL aviation. By pooling their expertise and technical resources, both companies will be dedicated to improving the energy density and performance of batteries, which will enable longer flights and greater charging capabilities. This joint effort will also seek advances in eVTOL safety and stability, thus raising the technical capabilities of these aircraft to new levels.
