Six leading companies in the aeronautics industry have joined forces to explore the creation of the first airport hydrogen hub in Spain. Luis de Oyarzabal of Repsol underlined the key role of renewable hydrogen in the company’s decarbonization strategy, envisioning its potential in both industrial applications and mobility, and the importance of collaborating with key partners to maximize this opportunity.
Airbus has launched the Hydrogen Hub at Airports program to promote the expansion of hydrogen infrastructure in aviation, with agreements already signed in 13 countries, including Spain and other major global markets.
