Elon Musk announced last Saturday in a post on the X platform that SpaceX’s Starship rocket, designed for future lunar missions and beyond, will likely make its fourth flight in approximately 3 to 5 weeks.

In response to a question about the Starship, Musk expressed that the objective of the series of tests is to ensure that the vehicle withstands maximum heating , or at least, the flight can advance further than previous attempts.

SpaceX’s Starship rocket managed to nearly complete a space test flight on its third attempt . Although it disintegrated at the end of its trajectory and upon returning to Earth, the rocket managed to advance further than ever, allowing other possibilities for its improvement to be evaluated.

Each flight test that is carried out allows the company to collect critical information for future space missions, such as measuring the safety and profitability of the project, with the aim of traveling to the Moon, Mars and the Moon.

In addition to preparations for the next Starship flight, SpaceX continues to develop its infrastructure in Boca Chica , Texas, with the construction of new launch pads and assembly areas.
