This achievement was validated by TÜV SÜD at the ” State Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Science and Technology ” in Changzhou, China, marking the company’s twenty-sixth world record in conversion efficiency and power outputs.
This record is not just a number, but the result of years of continuous innovation and technological dedication. Furthermore, obtaining this registration is possible by incorporating technologies such as laser-induced activation, edge passivation, dense high-resistance gratings and high-density encapsulation technology, allowing resistance to be reduced and light capture to be maximized. Since 2015, when Trina Solar set its first world record with cells in the large-area n-type i-TOPCon module , the company has led the transition of these technologies from the laboratory to industrial production.
