The company Soltec, a solar technology provider, will establish a work plan and equip a new photovoltaic plant in Murcia, Spain. With a capacity of 367 MW of its SFOne tracker for the company X-ELIO .
New Soltec plant supplies 367 MW
The company will implement double-row 1P technology, electrical flow followers that stand out for their compact size , which reduces visual impact while increasing energy efficiency. The project, which foresees the installation of 5,948 followers, will begin at the end of February.
The initiative is expected to generate more than 300 direct jobs during its implementation, giving priority to local workers and small and medium-sized businesses. With a total investment of around 270 million euros, the plant represents an important step towards the decarbonization of the local economy and is set to become the largest photovoltaic installation in the region.
According to Raúl Morales, CEO of Soltec , working with X-ELIO is a privilege, and the project will greatly benefit the local economy by supporting decarbonization. Once operational, the plant will avoid approximately 148,328 tons of CO₂ emissions per year and generate approximately 748,000 MWh of clean energy, enough to power 215,000 homes each year.
