Aberdeen Port’s participation and SOWEC

Its strategic location, close to the majority of ScotWind licenses and next to the world’s first Floating Offshore Wind Innovation Centre, together with the planned Energy Transition Zone Ltd, underlines Aberdeen’s importance on the renewable energy map.

This progress reflects the Scottish government’s and industry’s confidence in the €420 million project, as well as the region’s commitment to the future of renewable energy, ensuring the Aberdeen Port and northeast Scotland remain leaders in the renewable energy supply chain.
