Infinity Rack announces the launch of a line of modular and waterproof solar pergolas. This North Carolina-based U.S. producer has developed a building-integrated frame system for Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV).

Infinity Rack’s line of modular solar pergolas

Infinity Rack currently has two models of modular structures: the “SunLounge” and “SunPark” waterproof solar pergolas, “SunPark XL” and “SunPark Cantilever”. These buildings feature a modular design that allows for various configurations and 14 pre-assembled kits, all manufactured in the United States.

The system of these pergolas and carports stands out because any solar module can be sealed. standard framed solar module without the need for additional on-site fabrication, creating a completely watertight roof. The permanent seal avoids the use of sealing tape or pressed seams, which could require maintenance and replacement. In addition, all structures are designed to withstand adverse weather conditions and snow loads, ensuring durability and functionality.

A competitive and innovative model for the market

SunLounge pergolas are designed for outdoor living spaces, outdoor seating areas, event spaces and meeting areas. In addition to providing shade, these pergolas can include automatic drop-down solar shades, motorized projector screens, fans and custom wrapped columns to match any aesthetic. In addition, SunLounge products such as SunPark are available with integrated RGB LED lighting, adding elegance and functionality to any environment.

On the other hand, the SunPark product line offers residential and commercial carports, vehicle charging stations and parking lots for buses, recreational vehicles and trailer trucks. These carports include fully cantilevered and dual cantilever options, adapting to various needs and spaces.

The pre-engineered kits offer energy production between 6.6 and 28.75 kW of solar output, allowing for the construction of structures of any size. In the third quarter of 2024, Infinity Rack will launch a new line of building products for stand-alone buildings, additions and sunrooms, with the ability to integrate BIPV.
