VisionNav Robotics presented its latest innovation, the VNST20 PRO trailer, during the MODEX 2024 show, demonstrating its automated system dedicated to optimizing industrial storage processes. This AGV technology-guided vehicle specializes in efficient pallet handling for large-scale inventories.

The VNST20 PRO trailer offers loading/unloading efficiency

The company’s vice president of global sales, Don Dong, highlighted the transformative role of the VNST20 PRO in the field of robotic AGVs, by improving the safety and efficiency of loading and unloading operations, enabling it to complete such assignments, in approximately 45 minutes .

It is also relevant to mention that several Fortune 500 corporations in sectors such as automotive, food, petrochemical, e-commerce, third-party logistics and pharmaceutical have adopted VisionNav’s technology.

What technology does the VNST20 PRO integrate?

Houston-based VisionNav Robotics Houston-based VisionNav Robotics has highlighted that the design of the VNST20 PRO system is aimed at flexible automation of material handling tasks on trailer trucks, building on the success of its predecessor, the VNST20. This model incorporates an advanced robotic control system (RCS) and SLAM technology with 3D LiDAR, enabling efficient obstacle detection and safe obstacle avoidance.

During the approach assessment process, the VNST20 PRO deploys a series of advanced skills to identify the precise location of the pallets inside the trailer, ensuring safe and correct splicing of the forks. Once completed, it proceeds to select the optimal route for safe cargo handling.
