MIS Marine will host their first industry event in Q1 2024. Aimed at bringing together our extensive array of existing customers and prospects, the event be split into a.m. and p.m. sessions, each with a very clear focus.
The morning session will focus on discussions with our current customers, sharing firsthand how our Mainstay vetting system is used by peers across the industry, the benefits it has provided to their operations and the problems it has helped to address. The aim of the morning is to showcase the state-of-the-art maritime applications and functions available to them through their Mainstay system.
The afternoon will open to a wider view, focusing on current topics of high interest across our industry and the challenges facing shipping professionals. The current topics shorted listed for discussion, include:
- SIRE 2.0 – The go live of the new OCIMF programme and preparations that all users should now have in place.
- Emissions reporting – What the future of shipping’s emissions reporting will look like and the processes in place to support the industry.
- Ship-shore interface – How improvements to the current ship-shore interface and surrounding policies are key to improved operations and efficiencies across the industry.
- Collaboration – How improved data sharing and communication is key to the successful development of our crucial industry.
Being held at our Houston, Texas office, MIS Product Manager Robert Kessler will host the event. Robert will be joined by our Managing Director, Dominic McKnight Hardy, Product Director, Roger Harris and our Americas Executive Manager, Gonzalo Mera Truffini. Houston is a location close to the heart of MIS Marine, as an international maritime hub for the oil and gas industry, and home to a number of our high-profile clients.
Following the event, we will host a cocktail party where we look forward to post event networking opportunities and to hear of further insights and feedback from the day’s discussions.
