The HPX ARC panel and its new version 4x17
One of the most outstanding developments presented by Kean was the HPX ARC panel, recently launched globally, with two specific versions: a 4x17-inch and a smaller one, sharing features such as high resolution of 98 microns, curved design and materials that allow flexibility without compromising image accuracy.
The 4x17-inch version is designed to fit pipes up to 4 inches in diameter, offering a large inspection surface that reduces the need to reposition the panel. This represents a significant advantage in industrial environments where operating time is critical.
A unique option for inspections in confined spaces
The smaller version of the HPX ARC can inspect pipes as small as 2 inches in diameter and operate at very tight bend radii. According to Kean, this combination of features makes it the only solution with this capability on the market, positioning it as a versatile tool for preventive maintenance and quality control in critical sectors, especially in hard-to-reach areas such as compact structures or subway installations.
Technology integration in the field: FieldView Tablet
Carestream also introduced its new FieldView Tablet, a handheld device aimed at facilitating the acquisition and verification of radiographic images in the field. This tablet is fully functional via apps, and is designed to provide an intuitive experience for technicians during inspections.
Its ease of use, combined with the mobility it offers, contributes to greater efficiency in non-destructive control processes, reducing review times and improving the documentation of findings in real time.
