AMPP Latin America member leaders present at AMPP + Expo 2024 Annual Conference

Leading members of the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) in Latin America gave their impressions to Inspenet‘s CEO, Francesco Solari, on their participation during the AMPP + Expo 2024 Annual Conference, held in New Orleans, USA. The event brought together professionals from various countries in the region to share experiences, knowledge and strategies in the fight against corrosion.

A space for exchange and collaboration

The event was attended by representatives from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela and other countries, who addressed topics such as:

– The importance of integrity in the energy sector.

– The role of women in the fight against corruption.

– The development of successful anti-corrosion projects.

Women leaders in the fight against corrosion

Within the framework of the meeting, the first AMPP women’s forum was held, a space to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by women in this field. The importance of female participation in building a culture of ethics and transparency was mentioned.

“We are super excited! We had our first AMPP women’s forum with very good participation, with many objectives and we want to be more and more included within the organization”, expressed Laura Cardenas, Global Center Board of Directors AMPP.

The event evidenced the growth and consolidation of AMPP Latin America as a vibrant community committed to the fight against corrosion. Participants highlighted the importance of collaboration between the different countries in the region to achieve positive change.
