The Zacatecas 2022 International Mining Meeting (RIM), an event organized every two years by the Association of Mining Engineers, Metallurgists and Geologists of Mexico (AIMMGM) Zacatecas District, will be held from July 13 to 15, with a full program of activities.
More than 3,000 visitors from different parts of the world are expected to attend the summit, which will take place at the Palacio de Convenciones in the Zacatecan capital. The space will have an area for exhibitors and another area for various conferences and expert panels.
This event brings together the industry’s brightest minds, manufacturers, distributors and national and international users, who seek to create a network to generate trade, exchange knowledge and disseminate the latest mining updates and innovations.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 13, after the official inauguration, a series of lectures and technical talks will be given by recognized national and international spokespersons of the mining sector, representatives of supplier companies and collaborators of companies such as Fresnillo PLC, Newmont Mining, Orla Mining and First Majestic Silver, all of which have a very important presence in the state.
As part of the recreational program, there will be visits to museums, streetcar and cable car rides, social gatherings, and a rock concert will be performed at the closing ceremony.
