More green hydrogen, more energy opportunities
The Holland Hydrogen 1 operation is estimated to have the capacity to generate about 60,000 kilograms of renewable hydrogen each day. This green hydrogen is intended to replace the gray hydrogen currently used in fuel production at Shell’s Rotterdam energy and chemicals complex.
In addition, it is expected that the introduction and utilization of renewable hydrogen will renewable hydrogen is expected to have a positive environmental impact by increasing the reduction of carbon emissions from the fuels produced at the plant. Meanwhile, it also facilitates the supply of this type of hydrogen for application in the field of heavy-duty transport.
