Wood extends engineering contract with Shell UK for $120 million

Wood Group extends its EPC contract with Shell UK for $120 million, ensuring support for the company's UK assets.

Wood Group PLC has secured a contract extension valued at $120 million with Shell UK Limited to continue providing engineering, procurement and construction ( EPC ) services on onshore and offshore assets in the United Kingdom. The agreement will run for two years under a cost-reimbursable model, strengthening the collaboration between the two companies.

Expansion of engineering contract with Shell UK

The contract covers infrastructure management at onshore terminals such as St Fergus and Mossmorran , as well as offshore platforms such as Nelson , Gannet and Shearwater . In addition, Wood will continue to provide support on the Penguins floating production unit, consolidating its presence in Shell’s strategic projects in the region.

The extension of the agreement means that approximately 240 Wood employees will continue to work in essential roles in the optimization, maintenance and restructuring of the energy assets.
