The company Unique Group has formalized the acquisition of Subsea Innovation . This purchase will expand the range of services and solutions available from Unique Group, and will strengthen its commitment to the manufacturing of underwater technological equipment, under excellence in engineering and technological development.

The technological development of Unique Group Company

From its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates, Unique Group has excelled for more than three decades in innovating underwater technologies , ranging from life support and diving equipment to unmanned vessels and flotation systems. With more than 600 employees spread across 18 locations, the acquisition makes the UK a crucial engineering hub for the company, complementing its other facilities in South Africa, the Middle East and the Isle of Wight .

For its part, Subsea Innovation, located in Darlington, United Kingdom, has been recognized for its excellence in delivering technically challenging projects globally for four decades. The company specializes in deck equipment for marine environments, including launch and recovery systems . Additionally, it provides engineering consulting services and customized solutions for the subsea and renewable energy sector.

According to Sahil Gandhi, CEO of Unique Group, this acquisition is a statement of its growth aspirations and its ability to provide an integrated portfolio of solutions to its broad customer base. “Combining Subsea Innovation’s track record with our capabilities puts us in a unique position to lead in the changing landscape of marine energy and subsea engineering.“Gandhi stated.

Subsea Innovation CEO Dave Thompson remains in charge of Unique Group’s UK engineering team. Thompson, whose experience has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions in some of the world’s most demanding environments.

He also noted that the merger of talents and resources between Subsea Innovation and Unique Group will generate special growth and improve productivity as safety of subsea operations in the future. Both companies are optimistic about the future that this strategic acquisition represents, hoping to set new standards in the submarine industry globally.
