As part of the academic evolution promoted by the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS) in Mexico, the Faculty of Mathematical Physical Sciences (FCFM), offers the Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, for the next 2023-2024 school year.
Roberto Millán Almaraz, a researcher at this academic unit and member of the team in charge of designing the program for this new career, explained that, based on academic needs, it was decided to include this degree as a new educational offer.
Millán explained that, from the University Academic Secretariat, the creation of the Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering was approved, a multidisciplinary science, in which electronic, mechanical and computer engineering mainly interact, with the purpose of developing systems for the automation of tasks such as industrial or automotive robotics.
For his part, Carlos Duarte Galván, a member of the team responsible for designing the study plan, stressed that this new program is in great demand and is of great interest among young people, since it covers various very modern areas, and above all it offers a wide labor market for graduates, both nationally and internationally.
He stressed that the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences makes a great effort to offer students a complete program that meets the training needs of professionals trained for the new challenges that society demands.
