The Tech Talking program this Wednesday, November 9, will have as a special guest Ing. Mauricio Herrera, who will be chatting with Ing. Francesco Solari, CEO of Inspenet, about the AMPP Colombia Chapter and Blasting Experts, solutions for the preparation of surfaces with alternative abrasives.
Mauricio Herrera, is a mechanical engineer, with a Master in Design & Manufacturing, in addition, he has certifications from organizations such as SSPC, NACE (currently merged as AMPP), Axxiom Schmidt, RBW Enterprises, AquaMiser, DeFelsko, Kennametal. He has an extensive career of more than 25 years of experience in the industrial sector as a specialist in surface preparation and selection of protective coatings, shot blasting processes, selection of equipment and materials. Currently, he serves as CEO & President of the renowned company Blasting Experts Canada and President of AMPP (Association for the Protection and Performance of Materials / Association for Materials Protection and Performance), Colombia Chapter.
In this interesting program, Herrera makes a retrospective of the merger process between NACE and SSPC towards the AMPP, in addition to explaining about the innovative methods and technologies used by the specialists of the Blasting Experts company, such as, for example, Water jetting (cleaning with pressurized water) and the Chlor*Rid salt removal system.
