Legislators will vote on the project that would open the doors to new investments around this energy vector and its derivatives, based on renewable energies.
If voted on, the project would go to sanction and publication by the current president Rodrigo Chaves, positioning Costa Rica as one of the first countries in the region to have specific legislation for the promotion of hydrogen, unlike other markets where it is still They outline Roadmaps that approach the strategies to be implemented in the short, medium and long term.
The legislation would not only give rise to the regulation of the activity, but would also lay the foundations for public policy so that market participants could promote new initiatives.
