This week’s guest is systems engineer Malvin Delgado. An outstanding professional, specialist in the chemical area and with a master’s degree in projects, who has been part of oil companies such as Shell, Siemens, GE, Pdvsa, D. Williamson, Baker Hughes; in functions related to business development, commercialization, marketing, operations and project management in Latin and North America, Europe and the Middle East.

Delgado is currently sales director at Picarro, Inc. and on this occasion he will talk about the importance of developing new technologies with the support of Oil & Gas professionals to promote and sustain the energy transition, highlighting the reasons to move away from fossil fuels.

“Emissions of greenhouse gases is an issue that is associated with a world class problem, which is global warming. People, industries, initiatives and even non-profit institutions have proposed many ways to attack this problem, there is no doubt that, attacking the origin of this problem, reducing, basically being able to quantify and design effective plans to reduce the emissions that cause this global warming effect, is where we should be working”, explains Delgado.
